Someone told me that once. And I agree. There's alot, and I mean ALOT of my family that doesn't act like family. Most of my friends I consider family..
What about you guys?

My mom side is most def my family but as for my father's...not so much. My dad did a lot of nasty stuff and his family backed him up. I only see my grandma on his side once a year for probably a hour which is sad but I can't hide the hate I feel for them. Same goes for my mother-in-law, your mother-in-law is always suppose to annoy you but I down right hate my husbands family. Probably because I've been here for too long living with them and having to put up with their shit and there is no where I can go when I feel like I can't take it. :/ I guess you have to learn to deal with it.

Yeah, I'm not being racists by any means but I feel ya. Putting up with my daughter's father and his side of the family for over three to four years has been a life-long headache for me now (quite literally). Hispanics are so hard to get along with no matter how hard you try. Or at least, that's my opinion. Now don't get me wrong, I have Hispanic friends, but their families can definitely be judgemental or just hard to get along with in general..
Yeah I feel ya, my mom is ridiculous and I don't talk to her at all. Due to the fact that she's ruined a good part of my life..

that's the same with my father, I just decided to cut him out of my life mostly years ago. We still talk from time to time, but not much. I don't know if my mom ruined any of my life, I think I was just very rebellious, she was abusive too. I've forgiven her for most things I guess, I mean I have too or else I would of had no one.

Yeah, I was that way with my dad. My mom abandoned me like a year after I was born for drugs and crap. That and she slept with every guy she could get her hands on.
